Inspired by nature and the joy of experimenting, Clare’s fused glass art captures one of a kind creative moments. Each hand-crafted item reflects hours of creative work AND the serendipity of kiln firing.
Lilly Pond, the work pictured, took months of planning, cutting, firing and finger-crossing to reach this gorgeous result. The piece is large, 12x18x5 inches in height. In fused glass, the larger the piece, the more challenges it presents during the multiple firings.

GoggleWork’s Annual In-House Exhibition
The Annual In-House Exhibition at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts highlights the vibrant creativity community and the showcase features work by our dedicated staff, inspiring instructors, talented studio renters, and select resident organizations. Together, these artists represent the heart of GoggleWorks, cultivating a dynamic environment where learning, experimentation, and collaboration thrive.
Mingle with the artists, explore the work, and kick off the exhibition (on view Nov 14–Jan 4). All are welcome. Proud to be one of the artists selected, especially because fused glass is a new medium for me. I love the challenge of creating 3-D artworks from a 2-D medium.

Anna’s Oak Commemorative Exhibition
to benefit French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust
Thrilled to be chosen for this exhibition. It is a unique opportunity to benefit the future while photographing the past. Interacting with the fallen oak, I mused upon all the human history that occurred during the oak’s life. If it could have seen, what did it apprehend? Anna’s oak appeared to have an eye on life.
